Micky Adams to Sheff Utd?

Rumours are growing that MA is about to quit Cov.

The Sunday People reported yesterday that Micky had a fall out with the chairman over funds available in the summer and as aresult is stalling on signing a new contract. When MA joined Cov it was reported that he had agreed a 2 and a half year contract. Now Cov fans are concerned that agreeing to sign a 2 and a half year contract is all he did and that he did not actually sign anything!!!

To add fuel to the fire Tim Sherwood said something on Sky over the weekend about MA along the sdame lines as the People report.

Furthermore, after yesterdays defeat against Crewe, the Cov fans were expecting (and hoping!) for the usual manager quotes around 'new faces and hope for next season' stuff that usually follows the last game of the season.....MA did not mention next season at all and said very little!!

The People linked Micky to his beloved Sheff Utd. Having missed out on promotion again this season Mr Warnock must surelt be under pressure......

The Sunday People have got things wrong in the past like any other newspaper. They have also got a lot of things right.

If you think about it, it would have made sense for both parties for Micky to be on a month to month contract until the end of the season when their fate is known and the aftermath of Relegation or Survival can be assessed and then plans for the future can be worked on knowing what the starting point is.

Apparently Micky said after the game 'whoever is in charge of this football club next season has got a problem....'
