Just realised that not counting cup fixtures and moved fixtures as results of, there is only one midweek match left before the end of the season, and that's not until mid-march.

Am quite happy about this as I have to rush around like a blue arsed fly from work so that I have time to get there on time, never mind get something non-pie-shaped to eat!

:038:

Edit: I'm only counting home games as I don't get to away games because of finance and said blue-arsed fly rushing mid-week

I don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, by the way we're playing I'll say it's a good thing :icon_wink

Bad, bad, bad.

I love night matches, especially in winter and when they're not on fecking sky. The sense of anticipation is that bit more, walking there in the dark, and then walking up the steps into the sea of light, especially when there's a good crowd and a wave of noise.

Best games of the year - at least until they kick off...

I agree that there's better atmosphere at night games

There's just so much more about the build-up. My eldest daughter goes every other match, and she's often gotten bored (unsurprisingly) at some of our recent matches. But she really picks up on the feel of a match and she begs to go to the night matches and, by kick off, she's fair dancing around with excitement.

I still feel it - but lay off the dancing.

I do prefer night games but they are just so difficult for me to get to. I have to get time off work to drive back to Leicester to make it for kick off, and then I usually make it back home for about 1:00am...

all in all pretty crap.

Thats more my feeling, the night games do have more atmosphere, but I need my tea!

I really prefer 3'o clock Saturday matches. If I had my way every match would be this time.

Night games do have something extra about them.
