Milan Mandaric believes all the time and money he has invested in Leicester City is finally starting to pay off.
City's owner was delighted with the "exciting style of football" Ian Holloway's team showed in their 2-0 victory over Midland rivals Coventry on Saturday.
He promised more support for Holloway, who is hoping City can beat Norwich in Saturday's Championship clash to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season, and says he has not to completely given up on promotion.
Mandaric, below, said: "The job for us now is to stabilise, play some decent football, win the games at home to bring our supporters back and give them something to cheer about, and see how far we can go this season.
"We will not give up on it while there are so many games to go, but mainly we will look at it for the summer time.
"I did say I wanted to get to the Premier League in three years and the first one has been a difficult one for me.
"But on Saturday, the team had balance with the new players and played a more exciting style of football, which is what I and the fans want to see."
The Holloway Hurricane has swept through City with his signing of six new players in double-quick time.
But equally important has been the help of the City chairman, who finds himself backing yet another manager with transfer cash.
Mandaric supported Martin Allen with no less than 14 new players in the summer, a huge addition to the squad that did not work out, to say the least, and even in Gary Megson's short reign he brought in Collins John on loan.
Since the transfer window opened, Mandaric has again shown his commitment.
He said: "What is it, in the first week, six players? I will let the supporters judge that.
"Sometimes I wish I didn't, that I was stronger and really controlled the situation but, at the same time, if you want to make the manager accountable for results, you have got to give him support.
"Now we will look it over and see what else we need before January is finished."
That sounds like even more new faces on the way and, if they are as successful as the first contingent, City will really be flying up the table.
