Leicester City Development Squad defender Mitchell Clark has joined League Two side Port Vale on loan until January 2021, subject to Football League approval.
The 21-year-old defender, who has been nominated for September’s PL2 Player of the Month Award, was previously on loan with the Staffordshire side for the 2018/19 campaign and again in January of this year, before the League Two season ended early.
An international with Wales at Under-17s and Under-19s level, Clark has progressed impressively in the Development Squad since arriving at the Foxes after a spell with Aston Villa in the summer of 2019.
The quick and energetic defender will now start his third loan spell with Port Vale, where he played 49 times in all competitions across his previous experiences with the side.
John Askey’s team currently sit fifth in the League Two table ahead of a home clash with Carlisle United on Saturday afternoon.
