if that's an indication that both Gray and Chilwell still aren't starters then I think we will lose both next summer.

Chilwell should be starting, he is ready now and for all the faults people raise, Fuchs makes the same errors just as much but Chilwell will still improve. We need as many creative players in the side as possible and that means Gray, change the formation from 443 and it will work.

I'm trying not to but when none of that team were starters last season its hard not to think its a B team

I thought Gray and Chilwell were poor. Chilwell nearly cost us a goal and Gray so often flattered to deceive.
What these friendlies have proved to me is that we rely hugely on Vardy and Mahrez.
