MM's ?8 million from Gaydamak?

I know hence the edit! I ment that either way, if he is owed money or still has shares then he still technically has an interest in Portsmouth Football Club!

Rumour has it that some of the shares are held in an offshore trust pending Gaydamark stumping up the balance of the purchase monies. The moot point is that presumably MM is the ultimate beneficiary of that trust. From what one reads it appears MM is arguing that for the purpose of FA rules this means he doesn't still have an interest in Portsmouth. The FA might argue differently.

Thats a few big IFs there then isn't it!
Always the case when dealing with hypotheticals, if you don't want ifs, don't ask the question on an internet forum where none of us are involved in the deal. Go see MM or Gaydamak :icon_wink

So therefore it is more than likely that it is this that is holding up the takeover and not our club falsifying our accounts?

No, for all we know the Gaydamak technicality might be all rumours and it's all finalised. None of us know

I am very calm thank you very much. I was just trying to highlight how anoying an informative post can be.

I see knowone is really bothered about this topic then? Rather just asume that it is LCFC that responsible for holding this up rather than a man that is trying to break FA rules? :102:

It's difficult. If MM is still owed £8million then he probably still owns 25 per cent of Pompey (it may be more - there are conflicting stories about the price for which he sold Pompey). None of that is knowable - the only verifiable fact is that his trust still owned 50 per cent of the holding company of Pompey 2 months after he said he had sold his stake.

If he still is owed money, then there is a problem that has to be resolved at some stage. The FA is unlikely to directly intervene until a bid is made (and it might then on the grounds that the forms striking MM off the list of directors of the various companies have not been submitted) but the legal announcements of shareholders is not due until next October. If it still shows the current breakdown and MM has taken over Leicester, the FA would be forced to act.

You would thus expect it to be a battle of nerves between MM and Gaydamak - both have plenty at stake here, although MM is probably more vulnerable. After all, if MM takes over Leicester, you'd expect Gaydamak to tell MM to sling his hook when coming calling for ny remaining money.

Whilst its always good to read new information is there really any need to post a question when all the answers are rumours or conjecture and have been said before.. Yes everyone would love to know what is going on, but we won't find out.
There will be no hard facts coming from posters of this board. Even the tit bits FT throw us are pretty pointless.

I don't think anyone has accused them of that... yet. But now youve said it, within a couple of days someone on here will be saying "As the club has falsified it's accounts....."

;)

If you actually read what I first said, i asked because I could not be bothered to waste ages trying to find my answer to my question for which I have 3 pages of information for now.
I'm just trying to point out that MM can be just as much at fault here than our board, and just feel it is unfair that the board are being slated for something that we don't even know it's their fault! when there is possible evenidence that it could be MM that is holding this up!!

Now I'm with you - I agree, nobody knows who is at fault, if anyone, or what they may or may not be at fault for. We are all confused, so you are in good company.;)

So you start a new thread because your lazy. Well done. The hypothetical answer to your question has already been discussed.

Use the search function.

Cheers OG, at least there's one other person on here that is not insane! Or maybe is it the other way round? :icon_lol::icon_lol:
