Not the best of preparations as per usual. I was hoping we were waiting for a few contracts to expire eg Toderov, Hayes. Now were desperate (Desire-Job) to get enough in for a kick about tomorrow, good job we havent got rid of the dead wood.
The original deadline was for start of pre season training, now its for the first friendly , we will be scrambling for players the night before the Blackpool game!

It's rare for any club to complete their signings before pre-season training starts, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
I also expect we'll see a few signings announced in the next couple of days.

i expect that those on the transfer market who have been told they have no future at the club wont even be at training.

I expect they will, even if they don't train with the other players.

If we expect another club to sign them there's more chance of it happening if they're fit.

And if no one wants to sign them, it's best to get them fit in case we need to use them.

but they may well be out looking for new clubs and indeed in negotiations, having medicals etc.

So you think they get on their bike and ride from club to club asking if anyone's interested in them?

Their agent will do all the work, until another club decides they're interested, and they could have been doing that for the last few weeks.
