Iv noticed on this site that Lee Morris has been slagged off time and time again, but I fell that next year in the coca~cola he will do a good job for us. So long as he stays clear of injuries, I think he will cause problems with his pace, and hopefully playing for a better club than the sheep he will play to his full potential. Is there any one else out there that agrees? or am i on my own.............

You're on your own.

Morris will be class in Division One for us, there's no question of that it's the injury problem that angers people. If he miraculously steers clear of injuries which I doubt very much, then we'll have a tidy player on our hands.

I will judge him when I've seen him play,as Malf said it's the injury that pisses everybody off.He doesn't deserve slating before he kicks a ball.

It's not Morris's fault that he is injured alot, it annoys me that some people slag players off for being injure alot...they don't get injured on purpose!

No of course it's not their fault, but they can still be critised for permanently being injured. If you were a builder and you always had a bad back and never did any work, you would be slated it's as simple as that.

Lee Morris is one of a long line of players (with "potential") who is doomed to never actually deliver. Sorry about that bleak statement but its based on long experience of his type of bad luck dogged article. It was an extremely wasteful, bad move to bring him here & it won't work. You will see that I'm correct over the next 12 months. I would guess that there are physical problems with him that just won't stand up to full time professional footbal at any serious competitive level. I spose we had to find a successor to Darren Eadie & a companion for Matt Jones. Same sad story -still the retained list this week indicates some degree of intelligent life at the Walkers brought on my financial necessity -lets hope for better things. They can't get much worse -I trust.

I disagree, I think Morris will over come his injury problems and prove his worth next season. We deserve a bit of luck and maybe Morris - 20+ goals will be this.

Lets hope you are right - However, I think he will have to score your 20+ goals in around 10 games -which is his normal work rate!
