Last night was a bit better music wise but looking forward to the Kasabian 'mix' on Saturday. Is the plan to have a vote on which 'mix' is better or will they just alternate the two throughout the season? :038:

However, I thought the blasts of music after each goal were truly awful, inappropriate and killed the atmosphere rather than adding to it. :102:

Agreed! IMO the whole problem with the atmosphere is that it is too contrived! What happened to letting the supporters get on with making their own atmosphere? Feckin music after goals!!?? Pleeease

yea the music after goals quashed every attempt to start our own chant or song.

i must say i was a little dissapointed with the kop last night, first half there was nothing at all, moved to L1 in second half and it was great. they did get behind the team well.

I sit in the Kop and 2nd half there was so much atmosphere there.. loads of singing and getting behind the players...

but why not in the first half?

Didnt like last nights musical choice (especially the crud music after each goal) so hopefully saturdays will be better.... hope we can vote on it though, but knowing the club they will just choose what they want anyway!!!!

Don't bank on it.....Have a guess what's in store should Elvis lash home a stunner.

(I know we've all had fun *cough* with all the Elvis gags but if he'd have scored last night they were going to play a classic Elivs ditty!)

The tune played just prior to players coming out and then a blast after each goal was one idea from fans, not the clubs idea.

Last season fans 'sang' the tune and then chanted Leicester at the end and the idea was that fans may do the same with the music played after the goal - which they didn't last night, no doubt not wanting to join in with any club played music but it was a City fans suggestion !

I reckon unfortunately that the atmosphere came with the improved performance by the team. Hopefully the atmosphere can continue even when we are not playing quite so well. I cant see it though. I would guess this is a problem with most teams at their home games.

i lost my voice at sheffield, thats my excuse for my little part of E3 being quiet. music before the match is fair enough in my opinion, but after scoring goals it just makes us look shit. reminds me of teams like middlesbrough, bolton etc who used to be nothing, came up to higher leagues and had to make up for lacking atmosphere. oh and half time music was not alot less painful

Whichever city fan suggested playing music after each goal should be publicly flogged in the centre circle at HT V Ipswich!

Can this be arranged FT? If you want to here music after every score p**s off to america and watch yankie football!

We don't play music after a goal do we???! Oh no! Now we are like Wolves. The most annoying music ever plays after they score and the P.A. guy is annoying too - "goal for Wolves" he says - well no shit you smeggy bellend licker.

Those kids who run down the touchline with the flags at Bolton when a goal is scored has to be the crappest thing in British football.

I was in the Kop and the atmosphere was good. Couldn't actually hear L1, despite all the fuss that everyone makes about the atmosphere and I thought that's where the 'real' fans sat/stood!
