Musicians In Film - Biopics

Well after watching the terrfic Walk The Line last night.

I was wondering what would be the next musician biopic on film. I hear there are a few in production Jimi Hendrix and Ian Curtis being two.

What would be your favourite musician to be sent up in a biopic?

I've seen a really ace documentary film on the rise of Def Leppard - I think it was just called 'Hysteria - The Def Leppard Story'. Fantastic stuff. Jon Bon Jovi has done a few (mostly crap) films but none about their music or anything.

I don't remember him being in it.. I only watched it about a week ago..

he was also in 'Vampires - Los Muertos' a lead role, and a brief supporting role in U571. I think he was also in something like Wolf Creek?

it says on there he was a pit inmate so it must have been a brief showing. It also says 'uncredited' so I must have just not recognised him in it..

The film I was thinking of was Cry Wolf.

There is currently a Marvin Gaye Biopic being made which should be good.

I've recently read a biography of his life written by his brother (now deceased) which was very good, I imagine it will be based on that.
