Leaving out Canero, Heath and Wright who are all rumoured to be out, the above is the squad at the moment. Imo although small it is full of quality, in past season we have been used to bigger squad often full of crap bench fillers. I think we have a really strong midfield with 6 decent midfielder (although the jury is still out on Wilcox), and adding to it isn't a necessity, Tiatto, Morris (when fit) and O'Grady can play there if needed.
The defence also is looking very strong although I think it can be done with being added to. It's a young defence and Levein won't want to rush the likes of Stearman and Sheehan. Maybury, Stearman and McCarthy can all operate at right back, and Tiatto, Sheehan, Johannson and Maybury can play at left back. McCarthy, Stearman and Johannson also play in the center aswell as Dublin if needed, (although CL has made it clear that he sees him as a striker). So the Defence is quite versatile, but like Levein I think the left back position is a position needing strengthening.
It is clear the attack at the moment is a concern, David Connolly is the main striker with De Vries and Dublin behind him with O'Grady likely to break through this season after prasie from the boss. Dublin is most likely to be played upfront a lot more this season as Levein see's him as a striker. Most fans would prefer him to De Vries although I think he will have something to offer, there must be a lot more to the bloke than what we have seen as Levein has strong faith in him. Despite Connolly's disapointing season last term I think he will still be the main striker. I think Levein will want to bring in a young striker beside him who will be good for Connolly but also chip in with a lot of goals himself.
On the whole I'm really confident and I think that with a few more signings to come in the coming days that the squad will be sorted with plenty of time to prepare for the new season. We have a young looking squad filled with skillfull, enthusiastic and hard working professionals. Gone are the day of the old journeymen and pointless signings, we can now look foward to a new look Leicester City full of optimisum and hope for the future. Roll on August 6th. :icon_bigg
