Apologies all - I know this is boring for most, but there again, you can't claim you've not been warned since its all in the thread title.
Anyway, the long and short of it is a very good friend of mine died aged 27 some years ago of cancer. Since, his brother and myself have been raising money for some of the local causes which supported him and his family through some very difficult times. These causes are superb.
We have our own registered charity for the purpose - the JMW Trust. Www.jmwtrust.com for those interested.

I am walking 27.1 miles (one mile for each year of Johnathan's life) this Sunday. There are around 10 of us doing this - and we aim to raise £1,000 each, minimum.
I appreciate there are a hell of a lot of charity requests and everyone is struggling right now, but if you can afford £2, I'd really appreciate it. If not, all messages of support are welcomed - but please if you only have nasty things to say, don't bother.
Thanks.
Should point out - this is a KENT based charity. That may put some off - I don't know.
