To be honest im getting quite pi55ed off with all this transfer talk, there is no point in guessing cos i bet CL has someone in mind!!

we will just have to wait and see!!

As long as whoever he gets in becomes as big and feared defender as we have had in the past ten years such as Elliott, Taggat and Walsh i dont care.

I just want passion and loyallty which in todays game aint going happen often!

passion and loyalty, I rememeber that.
Someone please give me some rumours to keep me going. I just a fix and I aint had one this week.

MB where are you

It is possible that CL will wait to see if we beat Charlton before getting any more players as obviously a win would significantly increase his spending power and could change who he might want to bring in.

I believe this to be an accurate observation. :P  ;-)

The problem with that theory is.

If we win CL will probably buy a central defended and heath, Dabs or dubs will be out. But if we lose CL wont have enough money for a defender and Heath, Dabs and Dublin continue to work.

So, which of those three is confident enough about his future at city to play well.
Which one will play crap and let Charlton win. Would do a good job if it ment you lost your job.

I don't think the players will think of it like that. Anyone who is replaced won't be out of a job, they'll still get paid.

If a player thinks he could be replaced if CL has the money now, it means the player would probably be replaced in the summer anyway. The only way they'll change the manager's mind (or get a decent offer from another club), is by playing well, not by deliberately being crap.

Ironic or not, people were using the same theory about players only being given one year contracts. But if the player wants to get a new club, or stay at the same one, they're playing for their future, so they have more incentive than someone who's on a long contract and is in the comfort zone.

One way or another the majority of players are in the comfort zone due to being paid huge amounts of money for very little work.

Is it Ironic, that the two scorers where centre backs.
