Andy King has a new home and its still in the family

Am I the only one who thinks this is kinda sad to see?

Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see him at a club again and still connected to us through the KP family.

But he's clearly only there because he's not been able to find a club since leaving us in the summer. And he struggled with his loan moves before leaving us too. What's gone on there? He's only just 32. Surely he's still good enough for better than this?

I hope he has a good time with Leuven, enjoys playing and gets what he wants from it, whether thats a longer stay with them, a move elsewhere afterwards or just somewhere to play a bit longer before retiring. But I think it's a shame as I would've thought he could still do it in the Championship which is a higher standard. Personally after being such a great servant to the club, I'd have liked to see him get a move to another club where he could make a big difference in England.

Championship clubs are hugely cash strapped and are going for younger cheaper players if he performs well the rest of this season he’ll get a better contract in the EFL in the summer

Covid has really ****ed over free agents. Being out of contract usually means a nice fat signing on fee but I understand it hasn’t been happening that way this year.

**** me, when we won that thingy a few years' ago, he was absolute mustard. Greed kids, greed does bad things.

Greed, and being a ****.

What if he got a hair transplant from a bastard and the roots have grown into his brain? Like that Halloween episode of The Simpsons when Homer gets Snake’s hair transplanted onto him.

Could be onto something there. What a reference.

Ahh man, terrible news.

Always remember that game against Man City in the cup where it seemed he almost scored from every corner that game!

How times have changed.

Second minute wasn’t it? I went to the away leg. Was nearly late.
I remember away trips. Even without covid it’s bloody difficult to get away tickets. Wasn’t the case in league one was it!
