Leicester City are proud to announce the launch of an all-new 100 per cent official club magazine. It will launch on March 4 and has the full backing of everyone at the club which will benefit directly from every issue sold.
The mag will be full-colour, glossy and have 68 pages every month. It will feature players past and present, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes access, posters, action and... YOU! For this will be a product written by fans for fans.
Paul Mace, Chief Operating Officer, said: "This new club magazine will enable the club to further expand its line of communications and dialogue with supporters in an entertaining and informative manner.
"In recent years we are fortunate that our club publications have established themselves as the best in English football.
"In working with Green Park Publishing we are confident that we will have another major addition to our award-winning portfolio."
The only thing it currently lacks is a title and the fan-input starts here as we want Leicester City supporters, wherever they may be in the world, to name the magazine is in a unique competition (see below).
The aim of the magazine is to complement the unrivalled news coverage of the official website and the traditional match day entertainment of the programme by adding an informative and witty, specialist magazine that offers the kind of coverage national newspapers and football magazines can only dream of.
It will, of course, feature in-depth interviews with players, high quality writing and first class photography - but it will also encourage Foxes fans to have their say, not only in letters but in dedicated editorial...
The best applicants will get free tickets to write match reports, the most dedicated fans will be featured and photographed, and the in-house expert will answer all your Leicester questions. If you see something that reminds you of the club strip, photograph it and send it in! Meet a fan in a far off place - let us know about it! Got a treasured memory or piece of memorabilia that we could all share, let us borrow it and we'll make this the ultimate read for Leicester city fans.
So what do you think, is it a good idea, is it a pointless waste of paper and money? Will it be a threat to The Fox? Will it make our match programmes shite?
Let's hear your views...
I've decided to keep it going until the end of the year so get voting!!!
