The Newcastle away match has been moved to the Monday night (August 31st) and will be shown on Sky.
So that rules out public transport for most people. Thanks Sky
Book a room in a Travel lodge,if you do it early enough you can get it for 20 quid. The one in Newcastle is ok,near the ground as well
If the TV people are going to move matches from Saturday to Monday they should do it for matches that don't involve a lot of travelling. Time and time again they move matches that involve a long journey for away fans, they don't care about the people who actually go to matches. There should be something in the TV contracts that stop them doing this.
The one near the ground is £29 for that night. There are still £19 rooms available at the Gateshead Travelodge though.
So Newcastle are live on TV 5 times within the first 6 weeks of the season? Who'd have thought that hey? :icon_roll
Will it not cost you the extra tenner getting to and from Gateshead
The Metro stops at Gateshead. I think a day ticket is only about £3.
But Gateshead is as rough as arseholes,I think I'd prefer to pay the extra £7 and stay in Newcastle
im not surprised all eyes will be on them
Have you ever met Jeff :icon_lol:

Since when did football have anything to do with fans? They are incidental to money, tv, money, money and, oh yes, money!
Indeed and Sky will no doubt sell the rights to TV companies abroad
What a piss take, it's always games where we have to travel a massive distance, TWATS!!
Im starting to wish the wankers never got relegated in the first place.
