Seeing as we always do so well in the honeymoon period,...remember when Have I Got News For You switched the format and just had a guest presenter every week? Shame Brucey died, he would have been great to kick it off?!

We should do a draw at half time on Saturday, one unlucky season ticket holder is given the job for the next match. He keeps the job until we lose a game, then we have another draw. We'll either find a genius invincible manager, or have the new manager effect all season long. It can't fail.

5 pages of discussing a new manager and we still haven’t sacked ours yet.

Hurry the **** up Vichai!

The powers that be haven't got a ****ing clue what they are doing when it comes to managers.

They must just stick a load of names in a hat

There seems to be no rhyme or reason to managers. When we appointed Peter Taylor the consensus was that he was only with us until he became England manager. I remember talking to Lazio fans in Rome and they spoke of Sven the way Forest fans spoke of Clough.
On the other hand people were disappointed when Frank O'Farrell left and was replaced by Jimmy Bloomfield. People were underwhelmed when Mark McGhee was replaced by Martin O'Neill.

At various times Steve Cotterill at Cheltenham, Gary Monk at Swansea and Malky Mackay have been seen as brilliant young managers but done little since.
I do not know whether Mike Appleton would be a good manager or not. I do believe that he deserves to be judged on his own merit rather than by Craig Shakespeare

I have enough difficulty understanding the past and am useless at predictions. However, I will throw three names into the mix - Esteban Cambiasso, Chris Powell and bizarrely Nigel Pearson.

Ahhh senility. Bless you, DG :023:

As you would expect I'm not optimistic! But regrettably tend to be more right than wrong. My reading of the Rafa situation is that he wants to stay at Newcastle if he can get the right financial backing. If he can't and a bigger club than Leicester isn't available to him then it's just about possible- but unlikely. There is absolutely no chance of Wenger considering Leicester. So we may well have to settle for another unknown quantity. Alternatively,at the end of the day Pearson could be the best but not especially attractive option.

Wenger FFS, the consistent failure merchant.

On a slightly related/ slightly unrelated matter. It looks likely that Uncle Claudio will soon be looking for a new job again.. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/...ws/former-leicester-city-boss-claudio-1529393

Was evident a few months ago when he confirmed an interest in the Italian national side position that he wasn't particularly happy at Nantes. After a strong start things have pretty much gone to shit for them since the start of the year. They are currently 10th.

I've decided it's either:

Jokanovic or Wagner. Preferably Jokanovic.

I fear it might be Martinez after Belgium shits the bed.

I’d say it’s very related to the exact same link three posts up from yours...
