The Cardiff game IMO is one of the biggest matches this club has faced in years. We haven't been in a position like this for a long time, and we need to get out of it a.s.a.p. We have seen in recent years how big clubs (Nottm Forest, Man City, Sheff Weds) have been sucked into the relegation dogfight of this league, and ending up being relegated. A lot of fans still haven't lived up to the realisation yet that times have changed a hell of a lot since the O'Neill era. We need to get behind the team at games more than we have done for a long time, the calling for the manager's head can wait 90 minutes, as there are more important things to deal with on the pitch. These shoutings surely aren't giving the lads any confidence at all. But the match next week is a massive game for us, we win and there will be, hopefully, a bit more optimism about the place. We lose, and our confidence will be at an all time low, and it will be one hell of a battle trying to survive our Championship status as a side low on confidence. We need to win, because if we don't, I fear that this beloved football club of mine will not have the strength or the courage to survive.

And as for Levein, please can he bugger off to Scotland. NOW. Before he does any more damage to this club.

The Sheff Wed game was 'massive', we can't keep shifting the focus - sooner or later we will be relegated.

I hear ''this is a must win match'' every fecking week!! Every match is a Must win but if you don't win what then ? Are you then relegated?

I have to admit that I am getting a little tired of all this the next match is the biggest etc, etc the truth is each game is as important, they are all 3 points for a win, the problem is the board just do not seem prepared to act, for me this shite will continue as long as the board allow it to.

Every game now home and away will be about the fans reactions, Levein had the home crowd on his back against Norwich, and now he away fans have started to turn against him, next week will be interesting, if Levein is still in charge I can foressee a half empty Walkers and that is when the pressure will really start to mount on the board. Plus with a home cup tie coming up a week later, the board have to do something to recreate an interest because I can see the Southampton tie failing to attract a five figure attendence.

When your own fans start on the manager at away games the game is up. Away support is always more vocal and positive towards the team than at home. If your away support starting singing for your head its time to go.

we in a rot, if we dont beat cardiff we remain in a rot which will be very hard to get out off and we can be considered relegated until our form makes a turn for the otherwise. we are a big club in my mind but we are not too good to go down, we have a good set of players but a poor "team", with a very poor manager. Craig should already be gone but I feel if there is any chance of craig been sacked it will be after the cardiff game.

If we win I will be far from convinced, there has been false optimism after every single win this year followed by deflation when we fail to win the 2nd game and start a run.

If we don't beat Cardiff i can see the reaction of the fans being far more hostile towards Levein than previously. I've always wanted Levein to stay but at the end of the day i just want Leicester to stay up this season and if that means sacking him then i'll live with that.

So we don't bother with the other 17 matches after that then?

Yeah but if you keep putting it off until the next fecking game you WILL run out of time.

50 points is roughly safety. We now have to win 8 more matches. I don't think we have won 8 all season. in 8 games time we will only have 9 matches to save ourselves, that means we have to win just under half of our remaining games...

For Levein that is not possible!:frown:

would possibly go along with that
