Nintendo wii trouble....

i have a wireless connection and i managed to conect the wii to the internet.
but i dont actually know how to play other people online, or how to go onto websties using my wii??

can anyone help??

I thought the whole point was to stand in your living room in front of the TV and wave them about making silly noises as you use muscles you never normally use.

No the whole point is so that fat old unfit people like me can play wii sports and beat people who are younger and fitter. Better than real sport.

to browse the internet on wii you will need the wii internet browser downloaded from the shop channel, it was free at one point but now costs 500 wii points. To play online games you will obviously need a game that works online - there aren't that many at the moment but examples are:

Mario Strikers
Battalion Wars 2
Wii Chess

you will also obviously need to know people that also have these games and exchange friend codes. You could just go online with these games and play some random but if and how you are able to do this varies from game to game.

cheers, also, do u know if it plays DVD's? i got it at beginning of this month, so its up to date.

No it doesn't, atleast not yet, You would think it would not be a bad idea for them to release a firmware update in the future that allows dvd playback or release an additional peripheral of some kind but as yet it doesn't have dvd playback.
