It sounds like a fairly light hearted interview, the person writing it is obviously going to be highlighting good comments he made about the club.

Presumably you would have preferred him to say that Albion are a load of shite and that City will turn them over easily. Perhaps you would have even believed him if he had said that.

Perhaps he should have slagged off his old club and his former colleagues - in that way he could have made it into a real needle match and ensured that he got a good kicking at the earliest opportunity. It might even be better if he were to retaliate - and to get himself sent off. That way City really will have their backs against the wall - but then they will be able to dig in and get a result out of the game, won't thay?
