Oasis would be a much better band if the monkey up front left and let his bro sing.

I've seen them live and the songs Noel sings are far superior to when that Ian Brown tribute act is on the mic

I have to agree, I like Noel Gallacher. I read interviews from him now and he seems a lot more 'switched on'. He was good on Radio One today, for example the question about regrets. He said 'Yeh, after Knebworth we should have took a break'. His brother however.........'He has a Caesar complex, he reckons everyone is out to get him' Thats Noel's view of him

I hope Noel releases a solo album

I have a long standing argument with hubby about this. I can't stand Liam's monotonous voice, but he maintains I'm the only person alive who prefers Noel. He went to see them at MK last year and said that Liam was out of this world (I wish), whilst Noel was just average.

He even got his own way by naming one of our kids after him :icon_roll
 
i think noel has a superior voice, but liams distinctive sounds is essential for certain songs. i managed to catch don't look back in anger and recorded all 3 :icon_bigg
 
I'm not a Oasis fan but Noel obviously has talent where as LIam is just a mouth without a brain and the nasal drawl he sings just gets on my nerves.

Cannot believe people have the nerve to doubt the talent of Liam after Little James.
 
Oasis are fantastic.
Both the Gallaghers voices are essential to make them what they are. Noel is the better singer but Liam is also fantastic at what he does. I don't think Oasis would work without one or the other.
One thing that really pisses me off is when people say Oasis are past it, their last album was up there with the best they have done, people (mainly the press) write them off just because they have been around for such a long time.
They are the best band I have ever seen live and the fact is they are still up there with the best.

Wasn't Noel bitching at the soldiers last week? saying they all complain and sue when they get shot....
