Normal Sky in HD

I resent paying nearly £300 for a sky HD box only to receive one or two relevant channels in HD, does anyone know if the normal Sky+ boxes have a HDMI out to upscale normal broadcast to my new HD tv when it arrives?

You wont get HD quality on anything that isnt transmitted in HD

I think there are some sky boxes that have hdmi outputs, they're not ones that Sky supply though.

They arent but they transmit (via a bluray player)

your ps3, (if you have one) will upscale dvd's. but tellys cant upscale telly programs
