Just wondering what how they deal with the GA tickets, and whether you have to queue at the right entrance or if it's like Cardiff was last week and you can queue up at any turnstile that's for General Admission(standing)

I'm a tad concerned as according to our tickets, our gates are behind the pavilion....which would mean a bloody long run to the B Stage compared to the other entrances around the ground.

If you click that, you can see where the B stage is and it's a far way from the back of the ground, compared to the sides.

1992, went to see Simply Red. There was 70,000 there.
Cracking event.
Managed to get to within 10 people from the front.
As regards getting in. We were the first to one of the gates, but all depends on which gate they open first as to whether you get nearest the front.
If I remember correctly, we got there about 2pm for gates opening at 4pm and first act about 6 or 7 ish.
Toilets were okay for the blokes, but a mare for the women, long queues....

Hope that helps,

Despite the stewards telling us they were opening up Entrance 4 early and Entrance 2 at 4.30pm(despite it saying 4pm on the tickets) we decided to stick with Entrance 2 and they opened up the gates at the same time(though 10 mins late) and we got to the front of the Bstage.

I've also been watching it on the webcam this week that the cricket ground has kindly not taken down!
