The club say they are 'extremely confident' the game will go ahead, however I have to say that i'm amazed no frost or snow covers appear to have been put down, looking at the pic in the link below.

The undersoil heating will help, but I would have thought simple things like frost covers would have been a must?

Anyway should it go ahead ...

Im not sure if thats in reference to the thread or the possibilty of the game being off

More snow is forecast later going into tomorrow, then we are only 24 hours before the game. That much snow has fallen, meaning it will take much longer to clear, and should it start freezing conditions will be even more hazardous.

Like I posted earlier forecasters predict temperatures to rise from tomorrow,can't see there being any problems.
I never knew this was on Sky,not a prayer of anybody showing it around here though

I haven't personally looked, someone here just read out that more snow showers were due later this afternoon continuing through to the early hours.

I hope the game is on, dont fancy having to trudge over on a Tuesday night for a re-arranged game.

I have the same problem as Portsmouth - Liverpool is at 5.30pm highly unlikey a irish pub will show the game.
So i will have to find a link online, if anybody has a website in mind that will show the game with good quality picture please send me the link.thank you inadvance

If you are in the UK then its best going to a shite pub,the chances are they will be too tight to have Setanta but will have Sky.Around here they have neither and show the football from all foreign channels

Its sometimes better to let the snow lie on top of the ground,sort of acts as a cover against the frost.Failing that we could get Birchenall to blow on the pich,he's full of hot air
