On This Day.

Only two years ago - doesn't seem possible! Both teams had great chances, Vardy in particular - but it was Wes Morgan's knee, Albrighton's shot, Kasper's penalty save and a sending off what won it - Brilliant night!

Larry May made his #lcfc debut #OnThisDay in 1977!

Ah, Larry May. The yard dog as an old Oldam supporting friend used to refer to him as. I had big hopes for Larry, part of the team that coincided with my awakening.

Larry May was my first black hero. I absolutely loved him. I was gutted when we sold him to Barnsley, we never should have done.

Given the level of abuse I recall that black players received from the terraces in those days makes my toes curl. In complete ignorance, I remember joining in with the kop singing some absolutely atrocious things while my own black hero was out there doing his best for our team.

There used to be a popular beat combo called 'The Business' and they had a pop song called 'Harry May'. I always sang Larry May to it.

Great song, Great player.

Sky was the limit. We hit it too fast back then.

Huddersfield could equal Derby's record for smallest number of games before confirmed relegation. Obvisouly we're all hoping that they get a result at the weekend, or that Burnley or Southampton don't
