A few questions for FT and please do not think I am having a go or undermining you, I am just interested to know.
1. Did you know anything about this ground share before it was announced? If so why were the fans not told, is'nt that your job?
2. If you were not told about this does'nt that mean the FT and the fans really do not have a say in the boardroom, no matter what we are told, surely the FT is the voice of the fans.

The fans have a voice but no influence

3. What is the point of an open meeting when the decisions have already been made, and any form of "consultation" is just a PR exercise and has no merit whatsoever ?

I thought that no final decision had been made. I can guarantee if 30,000 City fans all made it clear they didn't want to share the club wouldn't go through with it.

1) We were informed at 8.45am yesterday, no previous indication at all. Some information we obtain we cannot make public, but that wasn't the case in this instance.

2) No it doesn't, you can count the number of people that knew about this at each club on your fingers. Very senior people at both clubs didn't know until recent days. All LCFC shareholders were told yesterday via a letter (which may or not have been received prior to the media announcement - depends on your postie)

We meet with the club last night & the open meeting for fans to air their views was agreed. The question now is will fans turn up. We did this when standing was a 'real issue' last season - how many fans turned up? - 4!.

All fans who want to air their views or hear more from the club need to make the effort to go once the date is announced

30,000 thousand LCFC fans will not make it clear they are against this idea, as is obvious from reading all of the threads on here and the radio last night.

Bring it on.

All the language yesterday was shouting out "done deal" - subject to the approval of football/rugby governing bodies in respect of co-ordinating fixtures etc.

I therefore respectfully suggest that this meeting is a complete and utter waste of time.

If four people turn up, then I would be amazed

No company tells its employees everything that happens during board meetings! If you expect that then you are sadly mistaken. However, the FT has no reason to lie so I believe they didn't know.

Are these 30,000 including the shall we say 5,000 who can't be arsed to turn up to support the club this season as ManU aren't playing?
