I've just gone to reply to an e-mail, and I don't know what I caught, but now I have (see below) all over the e-mail.

Can someone help me switch off whatever I acidentally clicked.

Learning to do what in junior school???

Good Jaysus, when I was at school, our sense of achievement came when we were allowed to progress from using pencils to fountain pens.
Biros were strictly banned.

Our head teacher was really proud of the fountain pens we had. We had to go to his office to ask for a refill.

Who uses fountain pens now? what was the point?
 
Huh? Why would that confuse you? Why wouldn't you teach cursive script?

Because as soon as they leave primary school they are told not to write joined up as nobody can read it. I don't know one adult who writes joined up.
 
How do they sign their name?

Are they taught to use Comic Sans?

Everything IT based uses Comic Sans because it is the most legible font for children to understand, mainly because the a looks like a written a
 
I can't think of one time since leaving school where I have used cursive script. Besides signing my name (which is more of a squiggle) it's not practical. It's generally easier to read "non-joined-up" writing, and when I write, it a lot neater.
