Reports on the Gossip page of the BBC Website

Leicester chairman Milan Mandaric is keen to bring in Macclesfield boss Paul Ince as Foxes manager to mastermind the club's rise.

Nooooooo!!!!!!

Hard player, hard manager ? Certainly got things moving at Macclesfield, certainly has got to be better than RK, I know he's had no money, but we need a motivator, Paul Ince might just be the man. Chris Coleman, had money at Fulham, but can he get our current bunch of numpties, playing with passion, I don't know about that, so Ince for me, at this point in time.

From fox fanzine...

"Good news for you and bad for me...

A good friend of mine is one of the Directors and Mr. Mandaric has agreed a deal of Compo for Paul Ince.

Expect an announcement this afternoon when Incey agrees personal terms.

Good luck."

I think I am going to cry....

I have always disliked Ince but for some reason I quite like the idea of him being our manager :102:

I would have a real problem if 'the gov'ner' was in charge.

Done deal

###### have suspended betting on the next permanent manager of Leicester City after a quick-fire gamble on Paul Ince.

Spokesman Steve Freeth said: "We'd only just put the market out and our liability screens were flashing and lighting up like a Christmas tree - we've seen enough for the time being.

"There was a colossal gamble on Ince for the Coventry job back in February that didn't materialise, but this looks the real deal.

"Ince then still had his hands full keeping Macclesfield in the Football League, but our punters seem to think he'll be taking the reins from Nigel Worthington at the start of next season."
