He's been released by Norwich (On loan at Burnley). I've watched him a couple of times this season, and he looks a very good player to have. Maybe if NW takes over, he'l bring him in ??

he has played well and he can put the ball in the net which matters, a few teams have started there clear out i think next week leicester city will start theres

Im really worried that this is the type of player we are going to spend MM's money on. A has been loanee at Burnley. Not for me :frown:

Good call Nottm. Did well at Burnley in recent weeks. No manager will no the player better than Wortho, so if he impressed him at Norwich, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him here next season.

Don't see how we can have a clearout until the new manager comes in and decides who/what he wants

McVeigh has always seemed a fairly solid player to me although I dont know too much about him. His signing wouldnt exactly excite me but I dont expect too many "exciting" signings in the summer either tbh.

True, but it looks as though Mandaric has also got his own ideas about players being released and brought in, maybe he'll start the ball rolling by clearing off deadwood that he doesn't see as having a future here :102:

Even Hughes has looked better for a couple of games under Wortho though, so it has to be the real dregs he gets rid of (i.e. big Rab).

personally id rather let the manager do the booting and hiring think its a bit off when the chariman starts getting involved with team selections etc

Hughes is a good player, I am sure of it. He will come good under the right leadership IMO.

He once was very well thought of up here - I cannot believe how shite he has been for us (that's Hughes, not God).
