Matches not selected for live coverage as part of the normal TV contract will cost £14.95 to watch.

From The Guardian:

The Premier League has agreed a new deal to show all its fixtures live on British television, but fans will have to pay extra for the privilege.

Since the coronavirus pandemic forced football behind closed doors, the Premier League has broken with years of protocol, and the competition’s business model, to show all matches live on TV. After an agreement was reached by clubs on Friday, that practice will continue for the rest of October.
But the five fixtures per matchday that will now be added to the schedules will be shown only on pay-per-view. Each match is expected to cost £14.95, with revenue from the sale to go directly to clubs in lieu of matchday takings. The move is likely to prove controversial, given the costs that fans already take on to follow their clubs on the small screen.

A current monthly subscription to Sky Sports costs £33.99 while a BT Sport monthly pass is £25. The price per match is also 50% more than the cost charged per match by EFL clubs on their IFollow platform.

As yet there has been no announcement of a mechanism for allowing season ticket holders, who have paid for the 2020-21 season but face the likely prospect of watching no games in person, to stream their games for free. The new arrangement has only been agreed until the end of the month, though it is likely a model to which the League will return if it fails in its current attempts to persuade government to allow for the return of fans.

A Premier League spokesperson said: “The Premier League has worked closely with Sky Sports and BT Sport to provide this arrangement and is grateful for their support. “The agreement will be regularly reviewed in consultation with clubs and in line with any decisions made by Government regarding the return of spectators to stadiums. “Football is not the same without supporters at matches. The Premier League and our clubs remain committed to the safe return of fans as soon as possible.”

yeah I'm sure everyone will pay than and absolutely no one will find an illegal stream to use instead ...

Bloody hell. I pay $5:00 a month for the NBC streaming service here which allows me to watch any game that isn't being shown live on their television channel.

From the Premier League website:

The Premier League today confirmed all fixtures until the end of October will continue to be made available for fans to watch live in the United Kingdom.

Under these new arrangements, the current live match selections will remain in place and will be broadcast as normal.

In addition, the five matches per round not already selected will be made available to supporters on a pay-per-view basis, accessed via BT Sport Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office platforms.

Clubs today agreed this interim solution to enable all fans to continue to watch their teams live.

Hope my £70 gets me some free passes....

Percy reckons we were the only club against this pisstaking.

Bargain

Nobody will care about getting the supporters back in the ground once this starts earning some wonga

Maybe we should all sign another petition - that'll show 'em
As predicted by me. Clubs will realise they can sell off their stadiums for housing development and just play their games on a training ground in front of 250 officials, staff and technicians.

They really are detached from the real world.

This will just mean the shit matches (Burnley Vs anyone basically) will be the only ones shown TV and anything remotely interesting will be behind an even bigger pay wall.

Not under this new agreement. The TV companies aren't getting anything from this, the money is going to the clubs.

So the TV companies will continue to show the games that will get the biggest audiences. If you support Man U or Liverpool it won't affect you much, because your games are nearly always shown on Sky/BT anyway. Fans of smaller clubs will end up paying more.

Pretty sure Sky/BT PPV won't be providing the service free of charge.

Of course the TV companies will be getting money from it.

They've now moved our next match against Villa from Saturday 3pm to Sunday 7.15pm for Pay Per View.

How kind of them.
