Any decent vocal mic will work well for recording acoustic guitar, voice and guitar are in a similar frequency range. The trusty old SM58 is as good as anything else on a budget.
A lot of it will come down to placement when you're recording. You could spend thousands on a mic, but if you position it wrong you'll still end up with a shit recording.

You may be better off buying an acoustic pickup (from sheehans, prices start about 20 quid) that will record directly when fitted, into a quarter inch jack socket (like a mic would), then you would have a clearer signal.
You could also use it live. Or buy an electro acoustic (with a built in pickup) that will plug straight in to your pc.
