Fluid according to the Mirror. :icon_conf

Milan Mandaric has gone through 13 managers in a decade owning football clubs.

And Leicester City fans will be dismayed to hear that all is not sweetness and light in the relationship with current boss Nigel Pearson.

The Mirror have got space to fill so they put up an easy story regarding Mandaric's relationship with his manager. Boring.

Nothing on the pitch or crazy goings on with players to suggest Milan has upset NP or viceversa. Ok we don't know everything that goes on but surely it's just papers chatting shit about a chairman who is a serial tinkerer.

utter nonsense. so he's got 18 months left on his current contract, big whoop.

Explians his recent dealings with the media?

Why does it? He could be pissed off or annoyed for any reason.

Nope, not possible, it is most certainly a fall out with Milan, all the signs are there.

Just look at how Tanner was treated in his pre match press conference, he's a goner, all because of Milan.

In the summer of 2007 Milan through Martin Allen spent a huge amount of money on fourteen players. Not one of them turned out to be value for money and some of them still drain the club's finances. He will also have had to pay out money for Rob Kelly and Ian Holloway. Milan has to be pleased with the way Nigel Pearson has used the smaller amount of money that he has spent.

There is another point. Milan will be keen to be "back at the cool kids table" hosting Manchester United and Arsenal. He will have seen that bringing in new managers - even good managers like Gary Megson and Ian Holloway does not always work. Milan will not want to change the manager.

As for Nigel Pearson the best thing he can do for his career is get Leicester into the Premiership. The squad is coming along nicely although he is perhaps three quality players away from having a team likely to get automatic promotion.
Nigel must even be aware that Leicester have an outside chance of getting into the Premiership through the playoffs - and staying there would be Pearson's biggest challenge.

Not that I disagree, but I think a dozen teams at least could say that this year. With Newcastle and WBA looking favourites for the top two places, and 3 pts between the rest of the top half it's going to be ridiculously close this year, although I think whoever the 3rd team going up are they will be in a lot of trouble next year!

I'm personally not sure how long we would keep Nigel for if we build slowly, as if we became a stronger Championship team in the next few years without promotion, I'd assume a lower Prem team will come in for him.

Stone him !!!!
