Oh thats right make me feel worse than I already do about not going.:icon_sad:
Anyway, we're going out for us tea to the local fish & chip restaurant and then onto the cinema as me and the missus both said we didn't think we could sit in front of Sky and watch the scores come in.

Re: People not going to fulahm

I am wearing my Leicester City top, I am going to catch a red bus in a minute, then go to Leicester (Town) Square and feed the piegons. Then I am going to walk to London Road before taking a short de-tour through the Victoria Parade when there is a small street. In this small street, there is a cottage in the corner which looks craven, I shall knock on the door and ask the old dear if I can come. I'll pay my £15 quid there, so she can pop around the shop in a bit and gets some batteries for the wireless. When she comes back, I shall show her my voucher for a free beer and she will knock on next door and get one.

I tell her I will back for 7.15, so I can have my pie before sitting in the craven cottage listening to wireless whilst the old dear acts the game with her grandchild whose wearing a white shirt to symbolise Fulham. In the afternoon, I shall be visiting Kings Road and go into every establishment on this small. Then, a walk along to Regent Road before going to Victoria Park and standing at the war memorial after that, I shall visit the Regency until 7 pm before stumbling down to Victoria Parade via Kings Road and going back to the cottage. Then the game shall kick off and I will make my way home back by the red bus again.

All this in Leicester whilst its pissing it down in London

meaning there's a small chance this could be off like Luton yesterday.

See you later!

£15, cheaper than waiting till you get to King's cross

Sat in the office right now, just been told that there'll be plenty of Leicester tickets on the door.
For once, living in London actually means i'm only 7 tube stops from a City game, as opposed to an hour on the tube an hour and a half on the midland mainline and then a 25 minute walk!
I've got a good feeling about this one.

It has been rather soggy down here the last week - rather heavy yesterday and so far today, mind you it has stopped now so fingers crossed they have good groundsmen :icon_eek:

Looking on the bright side it is still quite mild!

It will be. Always comes in through the corner between the away seats & the riverside stand. Always pretty arctic in the front rows, especially the seats in front of the boxes, for evening games!

Thermal long-johns for me.

At least the rain seems to have gone - sun's out at the moment
