errrrr whilst walking to play football today my phone got covered in water from my bottle-and now has stopped working. I dont know how long it was covered for, but does anyone know if it is likely to work again :102:

Something similar happened to mine a couple of years ago.

I just took all the bits apart and layed them on a tea-towel on top of a radiator, was working within hours.

with my phone i cant take the front off and theres condensation on it :icon_sad:

Just throw it in the air and forget to catch it like I did with my other old phone. Then go out and buy a new one.

Take the battery out as well.
I had a nokia 6210 go through the washing machine once, let it dry for a few days and it worked fine.

My phone got soaked once, worked afterwards but no one could hear me when speaking through it so Orange sent me a replacement.

My daughter dropped hers in a sink. We took it apart and dried it out. The phone was stuffed though. It lit up but wouldn't connect. There was a sticker type thing inside and the phone company said if it had changed colour (it had) it showed it had come into contact with water and they wouldn't replace it.The sim card worked fine and we transfered it to another phone with all the numbers etc in tact.
