I found this in an old thread from two years ago. Obviously it’s no longer accurate with players having left or signed new deals.

Does anyone know what the current situation is with player contracts?

Out Of Contract in summer 2018:
Hamer, Albrighton, Drinkwater, James, Ulloa,Lawrence, Fuchs, Huth, Inler

Albrighton (to 2020), James (2021 - read it and weep), Ulloa (2019 - read it and wail) and Fuchs (2019) all extended their contracts.

Drinkwater, Lawrence, Inler, meh.

Hamer and Huth are out of contract this summer.

I think it's:

2018 - Huth - Hamer - Dragovic (loan)

2019
- Simpson - Benaloune - Morgan - Okazaki - Fuchs - Ulloa

2020 - Albrighton - Amartey - Mendy - Musa - Jakupovic - King

2021 - Chilwell - Iborra - Mahrez - Gray - Vardy - Silva - James - Slimani - Kapustka - Schmeichel

2022 - Maguire - Ndidi - Iheanacho - Diabate

Saddled with some shit for a few years, there

Ouch

2019 - Simpson - Benaloune - Morgan - Okazaki - Fuchs - Ulloa - Elder - Knight

2020 - Albrighton - Amartey - Mendy - Jakupovic - King - Choudhury - Hughes - Thomas

2021 - Chilwell - Iborra - Gray - Silva - James - Slimani - Kapustka - Schmeichel - Evans - Johnson

2022 - Maguire - Ndidi - Iheanacho - Diabate - Ward - Ghezzal - Vardy - Barnes

2023 - Benkovic - Soyuncu - Ricardo - Maddison

That’ll get rid of any remnants of the title winning 11.

Only 2 started yesterday. Only two years ago. Mad to think about.

Mad Indeed.

Three sold on, one let go, four not selected to start who were never going to start, one who would've started had he been fully match fit, and two who actually started (one of which probably will not start as much this season with the competition for places).

All that change in 2 years, 3 months and 8 days.

I believe this season is indeed the beginning of a new era for LCFC.

Mind you, Boc doesn't remember any of them so you're ahead of him at least.

I remember Vardy. Wasn't he the bloke who scored last night?

It's soon to be reported that Ndidi has signed an improved deal extending his contract by two years - to 2024.

Maguire announcement to follow shortly too.

As long as they don't include release clauses, this is very good work by the club.
