it was a good night.

Levein and Nalis stayed right til the end.
Hughes went about 10 minutes before we did.
Gillespie went a little earlier than that.

most of the mardyarses left as soon as the awards were done.

would it have killed them to stay for 1/2hour afterwards??

spoke loads to Nalis( :smt007 ) he is luverlee....

all in all a pretty good night.

as for your second comment...our season HAS been bad....hadn't you noticed???

i actually voted for Gillespie(put my voting form in the week after Easter-then he got crocked and didn't play!!)

my reasoning was simple. if i had to pick a BEST player over the season i couldn't do it,simple because we've had to watch a load of crap.
if i could've picked a player who had only been here three months i would've done.

i picked Gillespie because i thought back to how bloody awful he was last season,but THIS season he has become a totally different player,and i think that is down to Levein and his coaching staff treating him with respect instead of undermining his confidence like Cork and Adams did.

although saying that...IF Dublin had played a bit better in the month leading up to Xmas i might've gone for him instead.

one was an ex player who kept telling us he played in a European Cup Final...haven't got the foggiest who he was.

and another really tall chap was an ex-Scottish international,.....didn't know who he was either....but if i saw a pic of him with a name under it i might well know!! LOL
