Hi everyone,

Player-Ratings.co.uk has now gone live. It has been updated with the results from the Celtic game and is primed and ready for the new season to begin...well as far as I know.

Any feedback at all be it good or bad would be much appreciated. Any problems need to be sorted out at this stage rather than later on when the season is in full swing.

So feel free to browse the site. There is not that much in the way of content on there at the moment but obviously it will become more content rich as time passes. At least the Celtic game has given you something to look at for now.

whats the difference between Man of the Match and Performance of the day? Same question for flop and letdown?

Performance and letdowns of the day come into their own as the season progresses. Performance of the day is the person who has played most above their average for the season whilst letdown of the day is the opposite.

The fairest voter is the person who is closest to the average of all the averages if you see what I mean, ie the person who is closest to the overall team performance rating. In the Celtic case, there were quite a few who were level on 7.08 and the average team performance rating was 7.05 (calculated by averaging scores for all the players for each voter).

Its kind of hard to explain but I hope you understand me.

Yeh its something I was planning to include as part of the match reports but forgot for the Celtic game. It will be included at the start of the season though.

The idea is that you leave your ratings on the site but still comment on them on these messageboards, I don't want to detract any popularity from these messageboards.

Regarding integrating with the club itself, I don't want to go into it at the moment but there have been VERY preliminary discussions with someone. Nothing will happen this season as regards integrating with the club so I'll just leave it at that for now.
