It's all good stuff but for clarification, what is the difference between Man of the Match and performance of the Day and also between Flop of the Match and Letdown of the Day?

They seem to be the same thing and if there is one thing I hate it's duplicated data!

Man of the Match is the person with the highest ratings, whereas I think performance of the day is the player who scored highest over their average rating, Flop is the one with the lowest rating and Letdown is the one with lowest rating under their average. I think that's it anyway.. Obviously it's pretty irrelevant at the start of the season.

Gotcha - cheers mate.:038:

I was just gonna let you know, but thanks for doing it for me Steven. Yeh there is an explanation of the difference between the two awards on the page itself because I get asked that a lot, that awards will become more and more relevant as the season goes on as there will be something to compare it to.

You're doing a great job :038: ! Not bad for club spokesman!!!

Just goes to show how Radio Leics are bias and dont generally give the full picture when it comes to leics in that in almost every case the people who listened on the radio voted on average higher than those who went to the game and watched on sky.

I have to agree but its bloody annoying when you cant get to the game and you dont get the whole picture.

you won't anyway!

you are getting the perceptions and thoughts of the commentators as they watch the game..which is far different to if you were watching it yourself..cos it's basically secondhand information isn't it?

fair point girl. But you expect a reasonable amount of nutrality when you listen to the game as the are providing a servce which many people who cannot make the game will count on being factual.

I was just making an observation that the people that had just listened to it had actually voted generally on average higher than those who went or watched.

Im not getting onto radio leics either, I think they do a reasonable job. The Jon Sinclair bit on the internet commentry of one of the pre season games was one of the best bits of comedy I have heard in a long time.

You expect a fair bit of bias from your local station. Friend of mine in Sheffield thought that The Blades were world beaters according to their local radio. To get a neutral commentary you need to listeb to a national radio station. Not many of them are interested in a match in the Championship. Couple of friends from Sheffield who went to the match thought that they got the rub of the green from the ref and that they were lucky to win the match due to his efforts. That's quite honest of them.
