de Vries man of the match, he gave the Spurs defence problems all night. His shooting was a bit off target, but he got the one that mattered. The twats were still booing him when the team was announced, I wish they'd piss off and support cov instead.

Agreed webmaster. How can anyone boo someone before the match has even kicked off. Although i also don't agree with booing during a match as well. These so called fans are just thick muppets who probably just do it because the guy next to them is doing it! Get a life

loved the tactical change he made and thats the team we should play (maybe a change in DEF but im not fussing at the mo).... hughes is so important to us got to play him.....

well done CL

MDV was absolutely superb, he still looked awkward at times but his holding up of the ball was amazing. How many of us thought he would fluff the winner? But he showed composure.

Hughes looked great as well, back to his form of last season. And Ryan Smith produced for the majority of the game and got in some decent balls.

Corners were still awful though. And everytime Keane got through I though Rab was going to hack him down.

I've criticised CL and turned against him but today he got it spot on. Well done,I hope you can keep it going.

As you know I have been and still am in some people eyes one of the bonehead army, but I have to say well done to Levein tonight, if it was a tactical change, well done indeed. MDv played well, held the ball up well and laid it off well. Hammond also did well when he came on and playing Hughes in the centre worked well.

The 4-5-1 to start was never the right idea when at home in the cup IMO and the 4-4-2 was the way to go (not sure where BBC got the 4-3-3 from!).

Well plyed today boys, Im waiting for a few more league games to see how we really do, but well done today.

Douglas 7 - Did OK, no heartstopping moments fortunately.

Stearman 8 - Solid, composed in possesion and got forward well. This lad is becoming a real player, and quickly
McCarthy 8 - Again solid and marshalled the defence well. Pleased to see him made captain.
Johansson 7 - Considering his lack of first team action at centre back, I thought he did well and was generally in control, save a couple of dodgy passes first half.
Maybury 5 - An abomination first half, better second.

Smith 7.5 - When he takes full backs on he's a real threat, I wish he'd do it more often
Joey 6.5 - A bit ponderous in possession at times, but certainly better than his last couple of performances
Williams 8 - Can't help but feel he's putting himself in the shop window. Good work rate and intelligent distribution
Hughes 8 - Excellent and nice to see him back in form. Top work rate, nice link up play and a sweet strike
Hamill 3 - Who?

MdV 9 (MOTM) - Fantastic, Spurs didn't have a clue how to cope with his physical presence. Some really nice link up play with Elvis as well

Subs

Elvis 8 - Made the difference as he rightly said in the BBC interview. Worked the channels and panicked the Spurs back line
Kisnorbo - Not enough time to rate.

it was obvious to me today the bbc didnt do thier homework they thought hammil was a centre forward! and hansen thought hughes was substituted! all they had in the studio was a copy of the programme!

I'd agree watching on tv at least twice people were shouting how crap MDV was vey loud! they were also insulting hugues, hammil and elvis. even lawro, hanson, shearer and ferdinand said MDV was our best player by far! A fantastic match anyway and shows what we can do. I still believe levein can turn things around - he's had a lot to do as we won't get the parachute money next year for dropping out of the premiership so he's had to cut costs and he has had no money to spend. I still think he has bought well with what he has got.

I've forgotten what it was like to jump around and shout like a kid like that. God knows what my neighbours thought!

Douglas 7 - I don't feel that confident with him but he did all that was required tonight .
Stearman 8 - Thought he was really good
McCarthy 8 - Stong performance
Johansson 7 - Bit shaky occasionally
Maybury 6 - Lennon faster than him and he struggled, but he battled on
Smith 7 - Exciting every time he got the ball but lacked control from time to time
Gudjohnanson 7 - Steady
Williams 8 - Never stopped running and some great passes
Hughes 8 - Superb. Looks good
Hamill 4 - nuff said
De Vries 9 - Totally bloody brilliant. worked his chuffing socks off
Hammond 8 - Excellent substition by CL
Kisnorbo - Not on long enough

Great game. Watching at Uni with my mates and they couldn't believe how good we were. They were all saying that with how we play, we should not be struggling how we are and we play some really good football. Even a Derby fan said how good we were and much better than our league position!

Great performance, and some good decisions by CL. MDV was immense, gave the Spurs defence a really tough time. Well done lads, well deserved! Let's hope it keeps going!

I thought everyone played really well, except Nissa, but it was all good!

We ****ing beat Spurs!!!

Well done lads, that one was for Levine and right poke in the eye for the so-called Leicester fans who reckon Sidebe and Gregory would be better replacements for us than Levine and De Vries.
All those who want CL and De Vries out, be big enough to say that tonight, you were wrong...

Blue ****ing army...
