Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of updates on the web site but uni life has been extremely hectic of late. Anyway the site is ready to take your ratings for the Watford game. Also must make a point that Anish has very kindly agreed to do previews/reports when he can (sorry for not getting the preview on before the game Anish) but anyone who would like to contribute a match report now and then when Anish isn't able to is very welcome to do so.

if you are using Norton Security, you may need to disable your anti-virus and firewall to submit this form.

has Norton been causing people problems then sheff?

it looks like a fairly standard form that you are using for submissions, I cant really see what objections it should have to it

Just posted mine :

Douglas 7 - Solid display, seems to be settling down with the back four and is pretty solid IMO.

Stearman 7.5 - Good display by Dicky, gets stuck in and supports well in attack, IMO is a better option than Maybury on present form.

Dublin 8 - Would have been a 9 but an horrific cock up gifted Watford an equaliser, apart from that was superb, his reading of the game is excellent and he marshalls the back line very well. Absolutely amazing goal line clearance in the 1st half, helped turn the match in our favour.

McCarthy 8 - Looks back to his best, no doubt helps playing next to somebody like Dion, won virtually everything. Not afraid to dish out a b*llocking either reminds me of a young Walshy.

Johansson 6.5 - Definately not as comfortable at left back, but did ok, would really struggle up against a pacy winger, distribution leaves a lot to be desired but played his part in a good defensive performance.

Sylla 6.5 - Drifted in and out of the game but showed a lot more commitment to the cause, had a couple of decent runs and did put in some quality crosses, also tracked back well and made a couple of excellent last ditch tackles. Still not firing on all cylinders at yet.

Kisnorbo 9 - Man of the Match, from first minute to last minute he was excellent, breaks up play very well and his distribution in general is very good, plays it very simple. Bullet header for the goal, really deserved it and seems to be enjoying life at Leicester. Whole hearted and commited but plays with discipline, excellent in the tackle. Craig please do not play him at left back, this is definately his best position.

Hughes 7 - Did well for his first game in the centre, definately brings more to the team in that position than Williams, still needs a couple more games IMO before he is truly back to his best, but his partnership with Kisnorbo looks very promising.

Hamill 6.5 - Did a solid job, not anywhere near Smith in terms of ability, but is an excellent crosser of a ball, and is a very good team player, worked hard for the team and is capable of beating men and whipping crosses in. Deserves a run in the side whilst Smith is suspended. Looks promising.

De Vries 7 - Well taken goal, still missed some other good chances, but works like a trojan, linked up well with both Hammond and Hume which is promising for the future. Hold up play is good, is liable to the odd comedy fall when in decent positions, but 6 goals is a decent return and is definately a different player to the one we saw last season. Even won a few headers, although they didnt always go near the intended recipient.

Hammond 7 - Unlucky on a number of borderline offside decisions, his pace does seem to worry opposing defences and he offers us a different option, is starting to build a decent understanding with De Vries and IMO will score goals at this level. Works very hard for the team.

Subs

Joey 6.5 - Did ok, helped to protect the back 4 in the closing stages, after seeing Kisnorbo play in his position, you appreciate why Joey was left out, he is playing a lot better than last year but he is still rash, gives away too many silly free kicks and gives the ball away with over ambitious passes. Needs to start playing with more discipline if he wants to try and win his place back, although he will be a useful squad player.

Huuuuume 7 - Real livewire, took over from Hammond, the Watford defence just couldnt cope and resorted to fouling Humey on a number of occasions, Mackay was really rattled by him, unlucky when he hit the post. He, like Hammond will score goals at this level.

A few weeks ago I enquired why a scoring-substitute had been excluded (Was it Hammond against QPR?). You replied that he had not been on the pitch long enough. Yet for yesterday's game both Joey and Hume are included despite having had only 19 minutes on the park.

You said you needed to be consisent with your system. What happened?

Interested to hear your thoughts on Kisnorbo PFKAKTF...I think he has had some good games too, which is great considering the awful press from Hearts fans he has had on here. Perhaps he is happier down here.....

I wanted to keep it consistent throughout the season but I've had enough people complain that it should be cut down to 20 mins that I have done that and it will remain like that for the rest of the season now.

Yes it is a standard form and I can't figure it out myself but when the site was first being tested by users during the pre-season, a lot could not get their votes through and it was found by a strange coincidence that it worked when Norton was disabled.
