From a poster calling themselves Tim Davies on another forum. :102: :102: :icon_eek: :icon_razz :icon_conf :icon_wink ;)

Hi all

I have come across this forum from an e-mail sent to me by one of your users and upon checking the site I was very intrigued. This seems a very well ran forum with a lot of character I suppose the way you would like to see Leicester city. As you may well be aware Mr Craig Levein will be staying as our clubs manager and I assure you if there was any doubt in my mind he wasn’t the right man for job Craig would no longer be manager. After our meeting yesterday transfer targets were discussed and many names mentioned excited me but until these players have signed on the dotted line I can’t mention names but have seen a couple of them mentioned on this site and guarantee you, You’ll be as excited as I am at the prospect of our signings in January. Our club is currently financially stable but a shock win against Tottenham Hotspurs could be the difference between us signing 3 or 5 players this month. So I have came on here to interact personally to urge you to come and show your support on Sunday Evening and get behind the team as you usually do. I am one of you after all and share the same emotion and anger as your good selves and beg you to please be patient with the current situation. We do share your frustration and If anybody would like to send me a personal message I will try to reply to them all (not too much abuse please) we are fighting for the same Cause.

Yours Kindly

Tim Davies

Tottenham Hotspurs

Pretty poor show if he doesn't even know the name of our next opponents.

And if 'the other forum' is Foxestalk, the admins there appear to have fixed a Levein out poll - it went from double figures to four figures overnight, and the forum's own stats said they'd had only around a hundred visitors in that time. So I wouldn't rely on what they say.

Sharpen your pencils:

this will not be the only message board i will be joining just the first.

Sorted. We win, get more players that are totally wikid and avoid relegation! Or we win and get players that are about as much use as a blind, one legged Akinbyi (In a Leicester shirt wen he was reet sh!te) and cruise to relegation! Mixed feelings on that one.

he then adds later on:

Thats why i have came on to the best board first to combat all the negativity on the other boards

wtf?

I will only believe it if it appears both on the official website and in the Leicester Mercury. Anyone can mock up something like that on a football forum.

What's the source please Steven? I will personally go and get Tim and deliver him thus. He needs to talk to TB posters, the cream...

If Earnie comes I'll be lovin it but until then, I think its a little optimistic. Purely because Wigan are known to be interested and I'm sure other C'ship, even Prem clubs would like to have a player of that calibre in thier team.

If he wanted to get a message to supporters he'd put it on the official site.

I doubt he's got enough time to spend on message boards, places like this are for slackers and skivers only.

Why's that then FF?

lets just say i have heard it from a reliable source, craig has made contact with the baggies,he has also asked about francis jeffers.(see previous posts)

I'd hope CL has made contact with loads of clubs by now regarding a striker, he's known about this problem for a while. I'm not writing Earnie off, he's just one of the more harder targets IMO. :)
