I think it was Coles we looked at before. I think, I say think..... Matt Hill had been looked at by Southampton last summer.

From what I have heard he is one of the better young defenders in his league. He can play centre or left back & was out of contract this summer so I guess Bristol have got something for him now, rather than nothing in the summer.

For some reason, I remember seeing this Matt Hill play when Bristol C played us at Filbo in the FA Cup. He had a good game overall except for scoring an own goal in front of the North Stand and conceding a blatent penalty for handball in front of the Kop.
