Ok, so I may be counting our chickens but why not have a discussion as to how many points we may need to secure fourth place and a champions league spot.

Looking back over the fifteen seasons since 2000/2001, the average points total for fourth place is 69. We therefore have another 37 to go from an available 69. We could have a number of potential combinations - 11 wins, 4 draws and 8 losses or 10 wins, 7 draws and 6 losses or 12 wins, 1 draw and 10 losses. More simply, if we can win 13 of our last 23 matches, we should be there with 71 points.

Can we do it?

I would cry

Wouldn't 4th only mean we had a play-off match rather than straight entry into the Big Cup?
