Pop Ups

This is the only site I have been on today but it seems that when I click on certain threads in General Chat I get pop ups.

Is this a new advertising thing? (If it is I don’t like it).

If not is it something wrong with the site or is it (the most likely option here) something wrong with the comp at my end. I have run my spyware and virus checker and it doesn’t find any problems.

you might have a spyware problem mate, i had something called trojan on mine a little while back, i had to find it manually, my spyware couldnt find it, and defender couldnt remove it, i had to do a factory reset. hope you havent got it too, coz its a pain in the ass. good luck

Wouldn't be a problem if people avoided dodgy sites / downloads.

It is either from the web tv thingy I downloaded on Wednesday last week to watch the England game (I doubt that as the problem has only started this morning) or the bloody junk emails I have started 40 + a day of.
