One of main email accounts is set up for IMAP on my desktop PC at home and work. If I set up this account on my phone will it affect anything if I set it up as a POP account? (Obviously I will have it set to leave messages on the server)

Thanks.

IMAP or POP is set up on the server, the client settings will be set to map that, so it all depends on whether both are allowed or not

Both seem to be allowed (I'm with 1and1) at the same time. More interested in any potential pitfalls by using both at the same time.
