My positives as i see it from the inter game were:-
1) Sheehan didnt look out of place and i thought was one of our best players, if gilbert doesnt sign i dont think it will be a disaster.
2) Tiatto showed me that his best position is defensive central midfield as i though he played really well there, left wing really is not his position.
3) The return of canero, similar to sheehan in that he did not look out of place and could have somehting to offer.
4) Gerbrand and Johansson looked solid and read the game well. IMO the goals conceeded were of excellent quality and we are unlikely to see anything like it in the fizzy next year. Add Mccarthy to this pair and our 2 starting centre backs will be spot on next year.
5) Henderson is more than adequate back-up to douglas with some excellent shots stopped, although kicking looks suspect.
6) IMO Sylla will be lethal so long as he sorts his crossing out.
My main moan was the lack of cutting edge up front although De Vries is looking so much better and much fitter than last year. I just hope our forward line doesnt hinder our progress as much as it did last year. Also O'Grady needs to go down the same road as Wright, unfortunatly the one leading out of Leicester, i am convinced he is not good enough. (despite the cracking penalty,

:icon_lol: but dont really understand why we are playing him (apart from fitness) if he misses the first 2 games due to suspensions
