i feel like im in a minority on here, but i think 'meg dog' can do the buisness.he talks the talk and we are begining to walk the walk based on what i saw at villa.what a turn around from sat

unlike ma who talked the talk but ended up 'walking'

not wishing to put a dampner on things but we werent expected to win last night and therefore it took some pressure off us etc, the proper test comes in the next few league games then we will know whether 'we are beginning to walk the walk'

we have to start somewhere.

dont get me wrong yv,i dont think weve turned the corner until we get some consistant performances, and results.but i hope last night was the begining:icon_wink

we all hope that biff but as were well aware supporting lcfc brings a few false dawns

... until we see Joey!

Exactly. I expect at least four points from Stoke and Wolves to indicate that we are indeed getting back on track for consolidation. Six points would mean we are getting back on track for a play-off place.

totally agree.
but its nice to get carried away now and again:icon_wink

I agree with YV, the proof of the pudding will be the perfomances and results achieved in the bread and butter league fixtures, under Levein and Kelly the players were clearly capable of raising their performance levels and competing against higher opposition in cup competition only to come crashing back down to earth when the championship fixtures resumed.

A true test of Megson's ability and influence will be if the results and performances in the cup can be replicated in the league on a consistent basis.

We'll know by Xmas, we've got shedloads of games coming up between now and then.
