Lets hope we can bounce back after Wednesday night.

I fancy a 2-1 win!

Hendo

McAuley
McCarthy
Kisnorbo
Kenton

Hughes
Wesolowski
Williams
Porter

Hume
Fryatt

Subs: Cadamartari, Maybury, Logan, Stearman, Tiatto

Any news on injuries - McAuley looked in some difficulty before he went off - was holding his side as if there was muscle damage or something. Hope it's not serious.

Tiatto looked as if he'd done a hamstring or something.

I'd go with the same line up as Fulham apart from two changes:

Cadamarteri for Hughes
Nissa for Maybury

Sounds good, but he didn't look as if he was yet fit enough for 90 minutes. If not I would rather have him on for the last half hour than the first.

Agreed, but Kelly needs to give him an extra 10 minutes each game to improve his fitness, but he isn't doing. He should be up to a 30 minute performance by now, but he still only gets 10 minutes if he's lucky

I've never understood the reasoning behind putting players who aren't fit enough for 90 minutes on the subs bench, if they would normally be a first choice player.

If you think he can manage 30 minutes, put him in the starting line up, then sub him when he's knackered. You might get an hour out of him - or he might only last 20 minutes. But if the plan was always that he'd play some part in the match it doesn't matter how long he lasts, at least you've used him in the most effective way if he's on from the start.

If you bring him on from the bench after an hour you might find you could have got more from him - or you might find he's knackered after 20 minutes and you have to use another sub.

But someone like Danny boy who obviously hasn't got his pace & stamina back yet is on at the start against fresh opponents and with fresh team mates he will struggle to be effective. As a game wears on at fairly high energy levels (like Saturday is likely to be) he can have much more effect.

In defense of Rob Kelly then, maybe that was his thinking on Wednesday, hold off substituting for Caddy as Extra time is approaching and he could do the business againts tired legs.

Then again, Kelly did say in his post match interview that at 3-3 he didn't see that extra time would happen as he intended to win it before the final whistle. So, I'll take my praise for Kelly back again

Do most pubs have pay per view? I want to watch our match but am not sure many places will have it on seeing as it's Man C v Blackburn too.
