Leicester City's pre-season plans continued to take shape today (Wednesday) when the club announced a friendly clash against Shrewsbury Town at the New Meadow on Saturday, July 25 (3pm)
The Foxes now face back-to-back friendlies against Football League opposition starting with the Shrews before travelling to Chesterfield three days later.
Shrewsbury, managed by former Derby County winger, Paul Simpson, were pipped in the Coca-Cola League Two Play-Off final at Wembley by a Simeon Jackson last minute winner for Gillingham.
