With just a week left BB loses at home to the already-relegated Dunmow and fails to shut the door on Nottingham; a repeat of the Week TWENTY TWO results in the final fixture will bring it down to 'goals scored' to decide the destination of the title.

Elsewhere the Major nearly goes through the card, only failing to get a point from one of the nine completed fixtures; his extraordinary performance comes just to late to affect the title-race though. BOB HAZELL on the other hand fails completely; with his opponent, Willlow failing to turn up until 5 o'clock on Saturday the result seems a formality but BOB had other thoughts, failing to get a single point whilst Willlow got a winning half-dozen from the two games he did remember to predict.

At the bottom MUSSWELL and escos join the hapless and aforementioned Dunmow on the trapdoor to the Fizzy, whilst No.6, Bilborough, homer, Singth and SJN-Fox all rely on a good last week of the season performance to keep their Premier League status.

OldGit wrote his name on the Fizzy champion's trophy a couple of weeks ago but second-placed Polar Bear is still not even sure of promotion, with no fewer than eight teams still battling for the last three Premier League places.

ch4mbo, somewhere in the middle, top-scored the week at this level; his 22 point haul standing well-proud of the rest.

ashmeister, Nathan and Swede have all got to rely on the failure of others if they are to avoid relegation; Dorset, lazzer and spion are looking nervously over their shoulders.

When Harbro's opponents didn't turn up this week, he must have thought he could tie the title up this week but his inexperience seems to have been his downfall with a stuttering performance netting him only a couple of points. MOUNTSORREL and monkey put in 3-point performances to stay in touch, but monkey has left it too late - with Harbro due to play MOUNTSORREL on Boxing Day, it would take a set of freak results to give monkey the chump champions spot, whilst even a single bonus point victory might not be enough for MOUNTSORREL. Big game coming up!

Scodger top-scores the division with 20 and is one of seven teams battling for the last promotion spot.

Fecking hell, that Newcastle result yesterday has kept me in with a shout. Now I need to bribe Homer. Shouldn't be too much trouble :icon_wink
